For over 15 years Dan Connell has been producing, directing, editing and writing award-winning lifestyle, documentary and reality-based television. His work has earned some of the highest accolades in the industry, including consecutive Taste Awards in 2014 and 2015, the James Beard Award for 2015's Best Culinary Program and numerous Emmy Award nominations.
He has created a wide variety of content for Food Network, Cooking Channel, PBS, TLC, HGTV, DIY, National Geographic and several other network, cable and television outlets.
Originally from Rochester, NY, he moved to New York for a job in the mailroom at The Late Show with David Letterman.
From there he went on to work his way up through a series of hands-on positions at Cablevision's Rainbow Media and then ABC's Wife Swap - shooting, editing, writing and producing with interesting characters in unique locations all over the world.
He worked as a field producer at The Rachael Ray Show, earning Daytime Emmy nominations for each of his two seasons there.
He then went on to produce and direct several successful food, lifestyle and reality shows including TLC's Moving Up, HGTV's The High Low Project, ABC's The Chew and TLC's America's Worst Tattoos.
As showrunner and director at Follow Productions he directed several episodes of Farmhouse Rules, Southern Fried Road Trip and BBQ Blitz for Food Network.
He was also the driving creative force behind the James Beard Award-winning series Extra Virgin starring Debi Mazar and Gabriele Corcos and the highly acclaimed, award-winning Public Television series Pati's Mexican Table - the only show on television to be nominated for both a James Beard Award and Daytime Emmy for best program in 2015.
As partner, producer and director of Frank., he will continue to pursue his passion for developing and producing fun-filled, character-driven content for anyone who likes a good story.
Dan lives in the Hudson Valley with his wife and two sons.

Pasquale DeFazio is an Emmy award winning producer, editor and director who has been working in national television and independent film for over 20 years.
His work has been exhibited on major US networks as well as international outlets and prestigious film festivals. His television credits include series for ABC, NBC, FOX, Discovery, TLC, MTV, and Food Network. He has also been an integral creative collaborator on dozens of development projects in television, web, film, and documentary.
His career began in his hometown of Philadelphia where he graduated from the highly-regarded film school at Temple University with a concentration in directing. Pasquale’s award-winning thesis film “Nighttown” sent him off on his career.
After graduation, Pasquale moved to New York City and started working in features. His credits include numerous indies as well as the major studio film “The Sixth Sense.”
While in NYC, he shifted to unscripted and documentary long-form television as a writer/director/editor. Pasquale worked on multiple episodes of the hit documentary series “Trauma: Life in the ER.”
Pasquale’s work led to a collaboration on the feature length documentary “The Long Journey Home,” where he served as writer and editor.
In addition to scripted and documentary, Pasquale has a long resume in food, travel, and lifestyle television. He has developed, produced and directed literally hundreds of episodes for every major cable outlet in the US covering virtually every genre – reality, food, competition, travel, relationship, and home renovation. In the past year alone he ran and directed six series, including the first soft-scripted food comedy series for Food Network/Cooking Channel.
As partner, producer, and director with FRANK., Pasquale brings his passion for creating interesting stories, unique characters, and groundbreaking show formats.
Pasquale lives with his wife and three beautiful daughters – his finest productions to date.
